Gold for the 36th time.

The Royal Horticultural Society Chelsea Flower Show 2026 was a huge success as we were proudly awarded our 36th Gold Medal for our exhibit of Raymond Evison Clematis.

The Guernsey seashore theme with 10 boats filled with brightly colourful clematis surrounded by blue, white and purple clematis depicting the sea, and serpentine wooden walkway through the middle, struck the right note with the judges.

We also displayed a selection of heritage tomato plants, once an important crop commercially grown on Guernsey, with a 70 year old tomato grading machine adorned with newly made true-to-type heritage tomato baskets supplied by Guernsey Willow Baskets Even a 'Guernsey' hung over the grader!

Thank you to all the visitors who came to see our exhibit and spoke to our representatives.
